Terms and Conditions for Manuscript Submission to Jack Wild Publishing and Avalon Anthology

By submitting your manuscript to Jack Wild Publishing and Avalon Anthology, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Submission Eligibility:

    • You must be at least 18 years of age to submit your manuscript.

    • Manuscripts submitted to Jack Wild Publishing can encompass various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and more.

    • Manuscripts submitted to Avalon Anthology should align with the theme of the specific edition (Fall, Spring, or Summer).

  2. Submission Fees:

    • A non-refundable reading fee of $10 is required for all manuscript submissions to Jack Wild Publishing.

    • Submissions to Avalon Anthology for the Fall and Spring editions require a fee of $25.

    • The reading fee for submissions to the Summer edition of Avalon Anthology are purchased along with your Summer Chapbook Contest entry fee.

  3. Original Work:

    • All submissions must be original and your own work. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

  4. Rights and Permissions:

    • By submitting your manuscript, you grant Jack Wild Publishing and Avalon Anthology the right to review, edit, and potentially publish your work.

    • You retain the copyright to your work and may choose to publish it elsewhere after notifying us if it has been accepted for publication.

  5. Response Time:

    • We aim to respond to all submissions in a timely manner, but response times may vary.

    • Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection via the provided contact information.

  6. Editing and Publication:

    • Manuscripts accepted for publication by Jack Wild Publishing will undergo an editing process, and the final version will be determined collaboratively.

    • Avalon Anthology reserves the right to edit accepted submissions for clarity, grammar, and format while preserving the author's voice.

  7. Privacy:

    • Any personal information collected during the submission process will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

  8. Indemnification:

    • You agree to indemnify and hold Jack Wild Publishing and Avalon Anthology harmless from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your submission.

  9. Acceptance of Terms:

    • Submitting your manuscript signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
