Welcome to our submissions page. We are excited to discover new voices and captivating stories. We accept submissions all year round, spanning across various book genres. Whether you're an emerging author or an experienced writer, we invite you to share your work with us.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Genre: We are open to all book genres, from fiction and non-fiction to poetry and memoirs. Surprise us with your creativity!

  2. Reading Fee: To cover our review process, we charge a nominal reading fee of $10 for each submission. This helps us maintain a high standard of evaluation and provide valuable feedback.

  3. Submission Format: Please ensure your submission is in a standard digital format, such as PDF or Word. Double-check for any spelling or grammatical errors before submission.

  4. Cover Letter: Along with your manuscript, include a brief cover letter introducing yourself and your work. Tell us what inspired your writing and any relevant experience you have.

  5. Manuscript Length: For fiction and non-fiction, we accept full manuscripts or sample chapters. For poetry collections, submit at least 10 poems or a complete collection.

Avalon Anthology Submissions:

The Avalon Anthology is a literary gem within the treasure chest of Jack Wild Publishing. It's our way of celebrating the richness of human expression and creativity. With seasonal editions released throughout the year, we invite writers from all walks of life to share their voices through poetry, short stories, and essays. Our Fall and Spring editions offer a thematic canvas for writers to explore, drawing inspiration from the changing seasons. The Summer edition, a special showcase, spotlights author interviews alongside captivating poetry. We believe that every voice has a story to tell, and the Avalon Anthology serves as a vibrant tapestry of diverse perspectives, emotions, and experiences. Join us in this literary journey, where every word contributes to the beautiful narrative of the human spirit.

  • Fall Edition: Submissions for our Fall Avalon Anthology run from September 20th to October 4th.

    • We welcome poetry, short stories, and essays that resonate with the theme: "Inspirations of the Natural World" - Explore the beauty and wonder of the natural world.

    • We accept poetry, short stories, and essays.

    • Submissions should be previously unpublished and original.

    • No word limit.

    • Multiple submissions are welcome.

    • ​Submission fee: $25 

    • Selected contributors will be featured in the anthology and receive a complementary copy of the anthology (does not include shipping and tax).

  • Spring Edition: We accept submissions for our Spring Avalon Anthology from March 20th to April 3rd. Similar to the Fall edition, we invite poetry, short stories, and essays that align with our theme that season.

  • Summer Edition: Our Summer edition coincides with the 2023 Summer Chapbook Contest. This special edition features author interviews and poetry. It's an opportunity to showcase the poetic talents within our community.
