We're seeking an experienced Editor to collaborate with us on a project-based basic, ensuring the quality and coherence of our published content. Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing manuscripts for grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation errors.

Ensuring consistent style and tone throughout the manuscript.

Providing constructive feedback to authors on plot, character development, and narrative structure.

Editing for clarity, coherence, and overall flow of the content.

Collaborating with authors to refine dialogue, descriptions, and storytelling elements.

Fact-checking and verifying accuracy of information presented in the manuscript.

Ensuring adherence to publishing guidelines and industry standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an editor and/or a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or English.

Strong command of grammar, syntax, and editorial guidelines.

Compensation
You will be employed as an Independent Contractor. You maintain the autonomy to manage your own work schedule, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with personal pursuits, such as additional employment, education, or personal projects. While you operate independently, you remain an integral part of our collaborative team, contributing your talents to our collective success. We understand that each project, sale, and client engagement for each position at Jack Wild Publishing is unique and our payment system reflects this dynamic approach. Payments to our Independent Contractors are processed seamlessly through PayPal, ensuring a secure and convenient transaction process. Your earnings are directly tied to the projects you complete, the sales generated from your work, and the number of clients you are actively collaborating with. This provides a fair and rewarding experience.
